Accessibility statement

We want every tree company owner, and everyone who works with them, to be able to use this site. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Text and background colours meet the contrast ratios in WCAG AA, including on the dark sections.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone. A "skip to content" link appears on the first Tab press, and focus is always visible.
• Headings are in order, images have descriptive alt text, and forms have labels.
• Animations and the moving work strip are switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
• The site works at 200% zoom and on small phone screens without sideways scrolling.
• Pages are tested with automated checks (Lighthouse accessibility score 100 on every page at the last check) and by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader.

Known limits

• The calculators and the text-back script builder need JavaScript. Without it the page still shows the formulas and example texts.
• Some portfolio screenshots show other businesses' websites; their alt text describes the project, not every word in the picture.
