Google Business Profile tune-up

By Umair Nawaz, founder of Lirevon Updated How we check facts

A Google Business Profile is the free listing that shows a business on Google Maps and in the map pack at the top of local search results; for a tree service company it is where most calls start.

Most tree companies set up their profile once and never touch it. Half the fields are empty, the photos are five years old and the last post was never. The map pack rewards complete, active, well-reviewed profiles. We make yours one of those and keep it that way.

What you get

Every field filled, correctly

Primary category "Tree service", the right secondary categories, the full services list with descriptions, your real service area as towns not a radius, hours including emergency hours, and a description written for homeowners.

Photos that get clicks

Twenty to thirty real photos: trucks, crew, equipment, before and after, the owner. Named and uploaded properly. We send the shot list; you shoot with your phone.

A post every week

A short post with a photo: a job done, a seasonal tip, a storm notice. Google notices profiles that move. Written by us, approved by you in a tap.

Q&A and messaging

We add the ten questions homeowners actually ask with your answers, and turn on messaging so a text from the listing lands in the same inbox as everything else.

Review replies within a day

Every new review gets a reply in your voice, good or bad. Replies are read by the next homeowner and by Google.

Monthly numbers in plain English

Calls from the profile, direction requests, website clicks, searches you showed up for. One page, no jargon.

How it works

  1. 1

    Claim and check

We make sure you own the profile, remove duplicates and fix the name, address type and phone so they match your website exactly.

  2. 2

    Fill it in, week one

Categories, services, areas, hours, description, Q&A, photos. Done inside the first 7 days with the rest of the system.

  3. 3

    Connect it

Website link, booking link, messaging into the inbox, review link into the review requests.

  4. 4

    Keep it moving

Weekly post, review replies, new photos monthly, and a check of your map-pack position for your main towns.

Questions

Can you guarantee the map pack?

No, and nobody honest can. Google decides. What we can do is make your profile more complete, more active and better reviewed than the companies around you, which is what the map pack rewards.

I work from home. Should I show my address?

Usually not. A tree company is a service-area business: hide the address and list the towns you cover. We set that up correctly so Google does not suspend the profile.

Do I need to give you access?

Yes, as a manager on the profile. You stay the owner. We never ask for your Google password.

What about other directories and social sites?

We make sure name, phone and address match everywhere, which matters. Google gets the weekly attention because that is where tree calls come from.

How long does the tune-up take?

The full tune-up is done in the first 7 days with the rest of the system. The slow part is usually photos, so send them early. Weekly posts and review replies start right after.

Is there a contract?

No long contract. Month to month, and you cancel with 30 days' notice. The profile work is part of the Core plan at $497 a month.

What if I already have a Google profile with reviews?

Good, we keep it and everything on it. We never create a new profile to replace a working one, because that would lose your reviews. We fix what is wrong and fill what is empty.

My profile was suspended or has a duplicate. Can you fix it?

We can start the reinstatement or duplicate-removal process with Google, but Google decides and it can take weeks. We tell you the status honestly and do not promise a date.

What happens to my profile if I cancel?

Nothing is lost. You are still the owner, so we remove our manager access and you keep every photo, post, review and answer.

Can you handle storms and emergency hours?

Yes. We can add emergency hours, post a storm notice and update the profile when you start or stop taking emergency calls. Tell us when a storm hits and the post goes out the same day.

Does it help Spanish-speaking customers?

If you serve them, we can add Spanish to the services and Q&A answers and reply to Spanish reviews in Spanish. Tell us on the kickoff call.

What do I see each month?

One page in plain English: calls from the profile, direction requests, website clicks and the searches you showed up for. You also see what we posted and which reviews we replied to.
