Our editorial policy: how we write and check what you read

You run a tree company. You do not have time for pages that guess. This page explains how we write our guides, tools and posts, where our numbers come from, and the honesty rules we will not break.

By Umair Nawaz, Lirevon. Last reviewed: October 2026.

How a page gets made

1. Pick a real question

Every page starts from a question a tree company owner actually asks: how to price a removal, why calls go unanswered, what to say in a review request. If we cannot name the reader and the question, we do not write the page.

2. Draft in plain English

Short sentences, simple words, US spelling. We write for an owner reading on a phone between jobs. Drafts may be assisted by AI tools and are checked against our rules before publishing.

3. Check every number

Each number is traced to a named source, to our own market check, to our price list, or it is turned into an input you change yourself. A number we cannot trace is removed.

4. Check every claim

We read the draft line by line against the honesty rules below. Any sentence that hints at clients, results or rankings we do not have is cut.

5. Publish with a name and a date

Guides name the author, Umair Nawaz, and show when they were last reviewed. Notable changes are listed on our changelog.

6. Fix what is wrong

When a reader finds a mistake, we check it and fix it. See the corrections page for how to report one.

Our honesty rules, in plain words

These rules apply to every page, tool and post. A draft that breaks one does not get published.

  • We never invent statistics, surveys, studies, client stories, client names, quotes, results, awards or rankings. You will not find a "#1" claim here.
  • We use a small set of fixed numbers only: figures from a named source (for example, Invoca reports that about 27% of calls to home-service businesses go unanswered and under 3% of those callers leave a voicemail), our own market check, our published prices and federal facts we are sure of.
  • Our market figures come from our own October 2026 check of 6,842 tree companies in 50 US states. We say so every time we use them.
  • Every other number is your number: an editable input marked "starting point, change it", or a range marked "typically, get a quote".
  • Lirevon has no tree-service clients yet. Our first case studies are planned for December 2026. Until then, no page will suggest otherwise.
  • Examples and demos are labelled as examples. Sample text messages are templates, not tested results.
  • Where law, tax or insurance comes up, we give a short explanation and say plainly that it is not legal advice.
  • We do not name or compare software brands. We mention Google because tree companies rely on it, and trade associations only on resource pages.
  • We do not claim a US office, address or phone number. We are a remote team that works US hours.

How we use AI tools

We would rather tell you than have you wonder.

  • Drafts may be assisted by AI tools and are checked against our rules before publishing.
  • AI tools can get facts wrong and can make up numbers. That is why every number goes through the check in step 3, and why our rules ban invented figures no matter who or what wrote the first draft.
  • A person decides what gets published. The named author is responsible for the page.
  • We do not use AI to write fake reviews, fake testimonials or fake client stories. Ever.

We sell something, and we say so

Lirevon sells one system to tree service companies: missed-call text-back, an AI receptionist, a lead inbox, online booking, review requests, a fast website and a Google Business Profile tune-up. Where a guide compares fixes, it also covers options we do not sell, and it says when our service is one of the choices. You can read about it on the services page and see the prices on the pricing page. Our free tools work without buying anything.

Common questions

Who writes the content on Lirevon?

Umair Nawaz, the founder, is the named author of our guides and blog posts. He is responsible for what is published. Drafts may be assisted by AI tools and are checked against our rules before publishing.

Do you use AI to write your pages?

AI tools may help with drafts. Nothing is published until it has been checked against our honesty rules, every number has been traced, and the named author has signed off.

Where do your numbers come from?

From a named source such as Invoca, from our own October 2026 check of 6,842 tree companies, from our published prices, or from federal facts we are sure of. Everything else is an input you change to your own number.

Why do your calculators ask for my numbers instead of giving averages?

Because averages for tree work vary a lot by region, crew and season, and we will not make one up. Your own numbers give you an estimate you can trust more.

Do you have case studies or client results?

Not yet. Lirevon has no tree-service clients yet, and the first case studies are planned for December 2026. We will not show results we do not have.

Is anything on your site legal or tax advice?

No. Where law, tax or insurance comes up, we give a short explanation and say it is not legal advice. Check with a lawyer, an accountant or your state for your own case.

Are your pages sponsored or paid for by anyone?

No. We do not take payment to mention a product. We sell our own service, and we say so on the pages where it comes up.

How often do you review pages?

Guides show when they were last reviewed. When a source changes or a reader reports an error, we update the page and note bigger changes on the changelog.

What do I do if I find a mistake?

Email hello@lirevon.com with the page link and what looks wrong. The corrections page explains what to send and what happens next.
