Found a mistake? Tell us and we will fix it

We check our pages before they go live, but we still get things wrong sometimes. If you spot a wrong fact, a bad number, a broken link or a tool that does not add up, please tell us.

What to send us

Email hello@lirevon.com with:

  • The link to the page or tool.
  • The sentence, number or result that looks wrong. A screenshot helps.
  • What you think is right, and a link to a source if you have one.
  • For a tool: the numbers you typed in and the result you expected.

Please do not send passwords, card numbers or customer details. We do not need them to check a page.

What counts as an error

A wrong fact or number

A figure that does not match its source, a source that has changed, or a number that should have been marked as an estimate.

A tool that gives a wrong result

Math that does not add up, a field that breaks, or a result that does not match the formula shown on the page.

A broken link or page

A link that goes nowhere, a page that does not load, or something that does not work on your phone.

A claim that goes too far

Anything that sounds like a promise, a ranking or a result we cannot back up. Our editorial policy bans these, and we want to know if one slipped through.

Something hard to use

Text that is hard to read, a form without labels, or a page that does not work with a keyboard or screen reader. See also our accessibility page.

What happens next

We read it

Every report is read by a person. We aim to reply within a few business days.

We check it

We go back to the source, rework the math or test the link. If you are right, we say so. If we think the page is right, we explain why.

We fix it

Confirmed mistakes are fixed on the page. Guides show when they were last reviewed.

We note it

Changes to a fact, a number or a tool result are listed on our changelog with the date, so you can see what changed.

Read how we write in the editorial policy, how tools are checked in how we test tools, and what has changed in the changelog. For access problems, see the accessibility page.

Common questions

How do I report a mistake?

Email hello@lirevon.com with the page link, what looks wrong and what you think is right. A source link or screenshot helps.

How long until I hear back?

We aim to reply within a few business days. Simple fixes, like a broken link, are often done sooner.

Will you tell me if you do not agree?

Yes. If we check and think the page is right, we will tell you why and point to the source we used.

Where can I see what you have changed?

Our changelog lists dated changes to the site, including fixes to facts, numbers and tool results.

Can I report a problem with a tool?

Yes. Send the tool link, the numbers you typed and the result you expected. The numbers you type into our tools are not sent to us, so we need them in your email to check.

Do I need to be a customer to report an error?

No. Anyone can report an error, whether you own a tree company, work in one, or are just reading.

Will you name me on the site?

No, not unless you ask us to. We note what changed, not who reported it.

Can I report an accessibility problem here too?

Yes. Use the same email, or see our accessibility page for more detail on what we check.
