For tree service owners
What is GEO and does a tree service need it?
Short answer
GEO means generative engine optimization: making your pages easy for AI assistants to read and quote. For a tree service it is mostly good local SEO done clearly. Accurate listings, plain service pages, short answers and real reviews. You do not need tricks, just clear and true information.

The longer answer
GEO is a new name for a simple idea. When someone asks an AI tool a question, the tool reads pages and listings and writes an answer. GEO is the work of making your pages the kind it can read and use.
For a tree company this does not mean a separate project. The same things help in Google search and in AI answers.
First, be consistent. Your name, phone, service area and hours should match everywhere.
Second, be clear. Each service gets its own page that says what you do and where, in short sentences. Put the answer to a question in the first line.
Third, be real. Show real jobs, real reviews and who runs the company. Do not claim awards or numbers you cannot prove.
Fourth, add structured data so machines can tell what a page is: a business, a service, a question and its answer.
What GEO is not: a trick to force a mention, or a paid slot. Nobody can promise that an assistant will name you, and anyone who does is guessing.
If your basics are weak, fix those before anything fancy. A tidy Google Business Profile and a few strong service pages go a long way. We build these as part of the website and profile work.
