For homeowners

What people really paid for tree work

Most price lists online are guesses. This page is different: homeowners share what they actually paid, a person checks every report, and we show a range only when enough people have reported. If you had tree work done, add your price below. It takes one minute and asks for no personal details.

What people reported paying

Total price for the whole job, in US dollars, from approved reports only. Pick a state to see its own reports.

This is what other people paid, not a quote. To understand your own price, read what changes the cost of tree removal.

How we keep this honest

Price pages are easy to fake. These are the rules we follow so you can trust what you see here.

Real reports only

Every number comes from a homeowner who used the form on this page. We do not add, guess or copy prices from anywhere else.

Checked by a person

Each report waits until we look at it. We reject reports that look impossible, spammy or copied. We do not change the numbers people send.

Ranges only with 10 or more

A group (for example, removal of a tree 30 to 60 feet tall) shows a price range only when it has 10 or more approved reports. Before that, you see only how many reports we have.

Middle half, not extremes

We show the middle of the reports: the median, and the range where the middle half of prices fall. One very high or very low job does not drive the result.

No personal details

We never ask for your name, email, phone or address, or the name of the company. We keep a scrambled code of your connection only to stop spam.

Not a quote

A range of what other people paid cannot price your tree. Your yard, the tree and your town all change the cost. Always get two or three written quotes.

Before you hire, read how to hire a tree service and what changes the cost of tree removal. Never climb, cut near power lines or use a chainsaw on storm-loaded wood yourself. If a line is down, call your utility; if anyone is in danger, call 911.

Common questions

Where do these prices come from?

Only from homeowners who filled in the form on this page. We do not buy, scrape or estimate prices. If a group has no range yet, it is because we do not have enough real reports.

Why do some groups say "still collecting"?

We show a range only when a group has 10 or more approved reports. With fewer than that, one unusual job could make the range misleading, so we show only the count.

Is this what my tree job will cost?

No. It shows what other people reported paying for similar work. Size, lean, access, power lines, cleanup and your town all change the price. Get two or three written quotes for the same scope of work.

Do you ask for my name or contact details?

No. The form asks only about the job and the price. Please do not type names, phone numbers or company names into the city box. We keep a scrambled code of your connection only to block spam.

Who checks the reports?

A person at Lirevon looks at each report before it counts. We reject reports that look impossible, spammy or repeated. We do not edit the numbers you send.

What does the middle half mean?

Sort all approved prices in a group from low to high. The middle half is the range between the lowest quarter and the highest quarter. The median is the price right in the middle.

Should I include the stump and cleanup in the price?

Enter the total you paid for the whole job, and tick the boxes for stump work, hauling and crane use, so your report is compared with similar jobs.

Can I report a job from a few years ago?

We accept jobs done from 2024 to 2026. Older prices may not match today, so we leave them out.
