Quote follow-up texts

Many quotes go quiet because nobody followed up, not because the customer said no. Fill in the boxes and you get six short texts for the days after a quote. Copy one, or download them all.

Please read

Texting rules, short version. Only text people who gave you their number and agreed to hear from you, for example a customer who called or texted you first or asked for a quote. Say who you are in every text. Offer a simple way out (reply STOP) and honor it right away. Do not text late at night. This is a short explanation, not legal advice. Check our texting rules guide and ask a lawyer if you are unsure.

Questions about follow-up texts

How soon should I follow up after a tree quote?

Send a thank-you the same day, a friendly check-in on day 3 and a date offer around day 7. Then stop after one last message about day 14. Fewer, kinder messages work better than a flood.

How many follow-up texts is too many?

For one quote, about four texts over two weeks is a fair limit. If the customer says no or asks you to stop, stop right away and mark them in your notes.

Do I need permission before I text a customer?

Yes. Text people who gave you their number and agreed to hear from you, such as a customer who called, texted or filled in your form. Our texting rules guide has a plain-English overview. It is not legal advice.

Why do the templates mention STOP?

Customers should always have an easy way out. A line like "Reply STOP to opt out" is common practice, and you must honor the request. You can turn the line off with the checkbox if you add it another way.

Should I call or text when I follow up?

Both work. Some homeowners answer a text faster than a call from a number they do not know. If the job is big, try a text first and a call if they reply with questions.

What if the customer says the price is too high?

Do not drop the price in a text. Ask what part is a worry, then offer options such as a smaller scope, a different date or leaving the wood. Our quote follow-up planner helps you plan the steps.

Can I automate these texts?

Yes. An automated follow-up can send the same short messages on the right days. Lirevon sets up lead inbox follow-ups for tree companies. You can see what is included on our services and pricing pages.

Is anything I type here sent to Lirevon?

No. The page fills in the templates in your browser. Your answers are only kept in this browser on this device so the form is filled in next time. Clear your browser data to remove them.
