For tree service owners
Should my tree service run social media ads?
Short answer
Only after the basics work: a complete Google profile, real reviews and a phone that gets answered fast. Otherwise you pay for leads you then lose.

The longer answer
Social media ads can reach local homeowners, especially for storm cleanup and seasonal pruning. But if calls go to voicemail or your Google profile has few reviews, paid leads fade away.
If the basics are solid, start small. Run one clear message in a tight local area using real job photos. Track every call and form so you know what the ads actually bring in, then decide whether to spend more.
Because results depend on your market, we cannot say what a lead will cost you. Set a small test budget you are fine losing and review it after a month.
If you cannot answer leads quickly, fix that first. Speed matters more than another source of leads.
