For tree service owners
Should my tree service website list prices?
Short answer
Most tree services should not post fixed prices, because every tree is different. Explain what changes the price and say you give a written estimate after you see the job.

The longer answer
Tree work depends on size, lean, access, what is under or near the tree, hauling and stump size. A fixed price on your site will be wrong on many jobs and can start arguments.
A better page explains how you price. List the main factors, say you give free or paid written estimates (whichever you do) and describe what happens next. That builds trust, answers the question most visitors have and helps people who are only shopping on price to move along.
If you want to show numbers, label them clearly as a starting point and say the final price comes after a site visit. Only post what you can honestly stand behind.
