Services list
Add each one under Services in your profile. Edit the wording to match how you work.
10 Q&A drafts
Fill in every part in [square brackets]. If your profile has no Q&A section, use these on your website FAQ page.
8-week post plan
One post a week. Use real photos from your own jobs. Ask customers before you show their home or name.
Category ideas
Pick from the list inside your profile; Google's category names change.
Drafts only. Check every line is true before you publish it. Google's rules and features change; follow what your profile shows.
How to use these drafts
- Open your profile on Google (search your business name while signed in, or use Google Maps).
- Under Edit profile, check the primary category, then add services one by one.
- Paste the description, check it is under 750 characters and save.
- Set a weekly reminder and post one item from the plan each week with a real job photo.
- Ask every customer for a review after the job. A full profile with fresh reviews helps customers choose you.
A Google Business Profile tune-up is part of our system. The free audit includes a look at your profile.
Questions owners ask
What does the Google Business Profile builder make?
From the services, towns and years you enter, it drafts a services list with one-line descriptions, a business description under 750 characters, 10 question-and-answer drafts, a weekly post plan for 8 weeks and category ideas. Every block has a copy button.
Can I paste the drafts straight into my profile?
Read and edit them first. Every line must be true for your business. Remove anything you do not offer, and fill in each part in square brackets with your own answer.
How long can my business description be?
Google allows up to 750 characters. The counter under the description turns red when you go over. Google also asks that the description has no links, no phone numbers and no special offers.
Which category should I pick?
Most tree companies use Tree service as the primary category. If you prune or care for trees, look for a related arborist category in the same box. Google changes category names, so type the word into the category box in your profile and pick from what Google shows.
What if my profile has no Questions and answers section?
Google has changed that feature over time and it may not show on every profile. Use the Q&A drafts on your website FAQ page, in your posts or as saved replies for texts and calls.
How often should I post?
Once a week is a steady pace most owners can keep. The 8-week plan gives a topic, a photo idea and a button for each week. Use real photos from your own jobs, not stock photos.
Should I add every town I work in?
Add the towns you really serve. Google lets service-area businesses list areas they serve. Listing towns you never visit does not help customers and can lead to calls you cannot take.
Is anything I type saved or sent?
Your choices are remembered in this browser on this device only, so you can come back and edit. Nothing is sent to Lirevon.
Do I need a website to have a Google Business Profile?
No. A profile can exist without a website. A site still helps, because customers and Google can check your services and towns there. Keep the facts the same on both.
Can I use the same text on my website?
Use the ideas, but write the website copy in your own words. Google profile text is short. A page can explain more. Make sure services, towns and years in business match everywhere.
