Tool
Text-back script builder
By Umair Nawaz, founder of Lirevon Updated How we test tools
The texts that do the work in the Never-Miss-A-Job System, filled in with your details. Copy them into whatever you use today. Keep each under 160 characters so it goes as one message.
Missed-call text (sent within 30 seconds)
Next-day follow-up (if no reply)
Estimate confirmation
Review request (after the job)
Rules in plain words: only text people who contacted you first, keep the STOP line, and register your number for business texting before you send at volume. Not legal advice.
Want these to send themselves?
In the system the missed-call text goes out on its own from your number, the follow-up fires the next day if nobody replied, and the review request goes when you mark the job done. You approve the wording once.
Questions about text-back scripts
What should a missed-call text say?
Say who you are, that you are sorry you missed the call, and how to get help: a booking link or a reply. Keep it short and add a STOP line. The builder above writes a starting version with your business name.
How fast should a missed-call text go out?
As fast as you can, because callers often move on to the next company. In the Never-Miss-A-Job System the text goes out within 30 seconds of a missed call.
How long can a text be before it splits?
A plain text holds 160 characters in one segment. After that, each segment holds 153. An emoji or curly quote can make the limit much smaller, so the builder shows the count and the segments.
Do I need to add Reply STOP to every text?
Common practice is to include it in the first text and in marketing texts. The builder adds it to every script so you can remove it where it does not fit. Short explanation, not legal advice.
Can I text customers who never called me?
Not with these scripts. They are for people who contacted you first. Texting past customers or a purchased list is a marketing text and has stricter rules. Our text message checker and texting rules guide explain the basics. Not legal advice.
What is the follow-up text for?
It goes the next day if nobody replied, as one gentle reminder that you can still help. Do not send a long chain of reminders.
Should I ask for a Google review by text?
Many tree companies do, a day or two after the job. Send the same request to every customer and do not offer anything in return. The review text above uses your own Google review link.
Does this tool send any texts?
No. It only writes the wording. You copy it into whatever you use today. Nothing you type is sent to Lirevon.
Do I need to register my number to send business texts?
Texting from a normal 10-digit business number usually needs registration with the carriers, called A2P 10DLC. Check with your texting provider and read our texting rules guide. Short explanation, not legal advice.
