What is Review velocity?
Short answer
Review velocity is how often a business receives new reviews over time, measured as new reviews per week or month, and it shows whether a profile looks active and current.
Review velocity, explained for tree service owners
Review velocity is about the steady flow of new reviews, not only the total. A profile with many reviews that are all old can look inactive, while a steady stream of recent ones suggests a busy, trusted company. Customers often read the newest reviews first, and they can influence who they call. To improve it, ask each customer after every job instead of in occasional bursts. Never buy or fake reviews, because review platforms such as Google can remove them and customers can tell.
