What is dynamic number insertion?
Short answer
Dynamic number insertion is a call tracking method that shows each website visitor a different phone number based on where they came from.
dynamic number insertion, explained for tree service owners
With dynamic number insertion, a small script on your website swaps the phone number shown, depending on how the visitor arrived. Someone who clicked a Google ad sees one number, someone from your Google Business Profile sees another, and a person who typed your site name sees a third. When they call, your system records the source. That tells you which marketing really makes the phone ring. It needs a pool of tracking numbers and a call tracking service. Be careful: your main number should still appear on your Google Business Profile and in directories exactly as listed, so your details stay consistent.
