What is Service area business?
Short answer
Service area business is a business that travels to customers instead of serving them at a shop, and on Google it can list the areas it serves while hiding its street address.
Service area business, explained for tree service owners
Tree services go to the customer, so most of them are service area businesses. On Google Business Profile, you can set the cities or zip codes you serve and choose to hide your street address if customers do not visit you. This helps keep a home address private and follows Google's rules. List only the areas you really serve, and do not add fake addresses or locations. Accurate service areas help the right nearby customers find you and avoid calls from places you cannot reach.
