What is search impressions?

Short answer

Search impressions are the number of times your page or listing appeared in search results, whether or not anyone clicked.

search impressions, explained for tree service owners

An impression counts when your page shows up in a search result for someone. They might not scroll to it or click, but it still counts in tools like Google Search Console and in your Google Business Profile insights. Impressions tell you whether you are visible. Clicks tell you whether your listing was interesting. If a service page has many impressions but few clicks, try a clearer title and description. If it has few impressions, the page may need better content or the topic may be small. Compare month to month, because seasons and storms change what people search for.
