Your 3 drafts
Suggested button: Call now
Drafts only, built from simple templates and your entries. Read each one, fix anything that is not true for your business, then post. Character counts are estimates; Google's own counter is final.
It is a short update you publish from your Google Business Profile. It can show in your profile on Google Search and Maps. You can post an update, an offer or an event, add a photo and add one button such as Call now or Book.
Up to 1,500 characters. But on a phone only the first line or two show before the reader taps "More", so put the main point first. This tool gives you a short, a medium and a longer draft and counts the characters of each.
Call now is the best fit for storm updates and offers, because tree work is usually booked by phone. Book fits if you take online bookings. Learn more fits job photos and tips that link to a service page on your website. The tool suggests one for each post type. Buttons can differ by post type in your account (an offer post may ask for a link instead), so check what Google shows you.
Avoid it. Google may reject posts that have a phone number in the text. Pick the Call now button instead, which uses the number already on your profile.
Once a week is a good, steady rhythm for most small tree companies. Post more during storm season or when you run an offer. A mix works well: one job photo, one tip, one offer or seasonal reminder, and a thank-you when new reviews come in.
Google does not publish how posts affect ranking, so we will not promise that. Posts do help the people who already found you: they show recent work, current offers and that you are open and busy. That can make a searcher pick up the phone.
Only with their OK. The safe default is to thank customers in general and mention what people said, like a tidy crew or on-time arrival, without naming anyone. Never write a review yourself or post a review that did not happen.
What you are doing (for example taking emergency calls or clearing trees off homes and driveways), which towns you cover and how to reach you. Add a safety line: stay away from downed lines, call the utility, and call 911 if anyone is in danger.
No. The drafts are built in your browser from simple templates. Your entries are kept only in this browser on this device so the form is filled in next time. Clear your browser data to remove them.
Say what the job was, the town or neighborhood and one plain detail, such as a tree close to a house or a tight yard. Use your own photo, and ask the customer before you show their home. Do not add a phone number in the text. Use the Call now button.
You can reuse the idea, but write it in your own words each time. A profile post is short and points to one action. A web page can hold more detail. Keep the facts the same in both places.
