For tree service owners

Can I put a Google review QR code on my invoices and trucks?

Short answer

Yes. A QR code that opens your Google review form is a simple way to ask for reviews. Put it on invoices, thank-you cards and receipts. Ask in person too. Do not offer money or gifts in return for a review, and do not offer rewards only for good ones.

The longer answer

A QR code turns a long link into a quick scan. Customers point their phone camera at it and the review form opens.

Make the link first. Your Google Business Profile has a link to ask for reviews. Use a code maker to turn it into a QR code, and test it with your own phone before printing.

Good places are the invoice or receipt, a thank-you card left after the job, an email signature, and a card handed over by the crew lead. A truck door can work, but most people read it while the truck is moving, so the card handed over after the job is usually better.

Pair the code with a short line such as: If we did a good job, a Google review helps a lot. Keep it polite and brief.

Never offer payment, discounts or gifts in exchange for a review. Google's policies prohibit it. Also avoid asking only happy customers in a way that screens out others. Ask everyone.

Follow up by text the same day. A direct link in a message is often easier than a scan.

Check that the link still works every few months. Our link tool and request builder make the link and the message for you.
