For tree service owners
How do I respond to a bad Google review for my tree service?
Short answer
Reply calmly and briefly in public, thank them for the feedback, do not argue or share private details, and invite them to call you so you can fix it. Then actually call them.

The longer answer
Everyone reading the review is judging how you handle a problem, not just the problem itself. Wait until you are calm before you write anything.
Keep your reply short. Say you are sorry they had a bad experience, say you take it seriously and give a phone number or ask them to call the office. Do not argue, blame the customer or post details about their job or address.
Then pick up the phone. If you can fix the issue, do it, and politely ask whether they would update the review once it is resolved. Do not pressure them.
If a review is fake or breaks Google's rules, you can flag it. Flagging does not always remove it, so do not count on it. One calm, professional reply often does more good than a deleted review.
