For tree service owners
How do I run a short weekly check on my tree business?
Short answer
Pick one time each week and look at five things: calls and missed calls, estimates sent and won, jobs finished, money in and out, and crew or equipment issues. Write down one thing to fix next week.

The longer answer
A short, regular check beats a long, rare one. Twenty to thirty minutes is enough.
Look at calls: how many came in, and how many were missed or answered late? Missed calls are lost chances.
Look at estimates: how many did you send, how many did you win, and which need a follow-up?
Look at jobs: what finished, what went over time, and what made money? Use your job records.
Look at money: what was invoiced, what is paid, what bills are due, and what is the cash outlook for the next few weeks.
Look at people and gear: any safety issues, needs for repair, or training to schedule.
Then choose one improvement for the coming week. Small changes add up.
