For tree service owners
How does an AI receptionist handle tree service calls?
Short answer
An AI receptionist answers the call, asks what the caller needs, and collects the name, address and problem. It then books an estimate or passes the details to you for a callback.

The longer answer
It works best for after-hours calls and overflow calls when your crew cannot pick up. It can sort the call into types, such as removal, pruning or storm damage, and text or email you a summary.
You set it up with your service area, your hours and the work you do not do. You also decide what it says about price. Many owners set it to say that a price needs a look at the tree, then book the visit.
It should hand off urgent calls to a person quickly. For a downed power line, the caller should hear: stay away, call the utility and call 911. The AI should never give climbing, cutting or electrical advice.
It has limits. Complex or upset callers often need a real conversation, so plan a fast callback and review the call summaries each day to catch mistakes.
If calls are recorded, recording and consent rules differ by state. This is general information, not legal advice.
