What is conversion tracking?
Short answer
Conversion tracking is the setup that counts useful actions on your site or ads, such as calls, form fills and booked estimates.
conversion tracking, explained for tree service owners
If you run ads or work on your website, you need to know what actually brings jobs. Conversion tracking records valuable actions: a click on the call button, a submitted quote form, a text sent or a booked visit. Without it, you only know how many people visited, not how many wanted work done. Tools such as Google Ads and Google Analytics can count these actions, and call tracking numbers can count phone calls. Keep it simple: pick two or three actions that matter, track them, and check them once a week. Then you can stop spending on what does not work and do more of what does.
