What is Follow-up sequence?
Short answer
Follow-up sequence is a planned series of messages sent to a lead over several days or weeks, such as texts or emails, to keep the conversation going until they book or say no.
Follow-up sequence, explained for tree service owners
Many customers ask for an estimate and then go quiet, not because they said no but because life got busy. A follow-up sequence gives each lead a few polite nudges, for example a quick check-in after the estimate and a reminder a few days later. It should stop as soon as the customer replies, books or opts out. The messages should be short, friendly and honest, with no pressure. For a tree service owner it means fewer estimates are forgotten, without remembering to chase each one by hand.
