What is title tag?
Short answer
A title tag is the clickable headline of a web page in search results, and it tells search engines and people what the page is about.
title tag, explained for tree service owners
The title tag is a short line of text in the page code. It shows as the blue headline in Google results and in your browser tab. Keep it under about 60 characters so it is not cut off, put the main service and town near the front, and add your business name at the end. Good example: Tree Removal in Your Town | Your Company Name. Every page needs its own title, because the same title on many pages confuses search engines. Write for the person reading it, not just for a robot. A clear, honest title gets more clicks, and clicks from the right people turn into calls.
