What is Click-to-call?

Short answer

Click-to-call is a button or link on a website or online listing that starts a phone call with one tap, so a mobile visitor does not have to type or copy the number.

Click-to-call, explained for tree service owners

Most people looking for a tree service search on a phone, often with a tree already down or leaning. A click-to-call button lets them reach you in one tap instead of copying a number. It should be easy to see at the top of every page and on your Google Business Profile. It is a small change, but it removes a step at the moment a customer is ready to talk. Make sure the number rings somewhere it will be answered, or the tap will only lead to a missed call.
