What is knowledge panel?

A knowledge panel is the information box Google shows on the side or top of results about a business, person or place.

When you search for a business name, Google often shows a box with the name, photos, phone, hours, reviews and a map. That is the knowledge panel, and for local businesses it is mostly built from the Google Business Profile. Once you claim and verify your profile, you can edit the details and answer reviews. Keep your name, phone, website, hours and service areas correct and the same everywhere online. Add real job photos and a clear description. You cannot pay Google to get a better panel, and you cannot fake one. Check it from time to time in case someone suggests a wrong change.
